Pink Drink, with Guava Passionfruit Flavored Beauty Collagen

Posted by Ethan Boldt on

It's summer and everyone wants their cool cool drinks, including the still trendy Pink Drink. But rather than overpay for a simple drink with less than ideal ingredients (and too much sugar), you can make it at home with the best ingredients and sip with the comfort knowing that it's good for you!

The key to this copycat pink drink recipe is our Multi Collagen Protein Beauty Within powder, which offers serious support for your skin, hair and nails while also providing the sublime guava passionfruit flavor. In fact, it's one of our most popular flavors and it also mixes incredibly easily with any type of liquid.

Check out the macros on this drink: 7 grams of carbs, 9 grams of fat and 10 grams of protein. And just 139 calories per serving. It'll go well with any type of breakfast or serve as a great snack.

Healthy Pink Drink Ingredients

The pink drink you find in big-name coffee shops does include caffeine, as part of their frozen acai base. If you want caffeine in this pink drink recipe, we recommend that you get it from health-promoting green tea (loaded with antioxidants) and one that matches this tropical like flavor. For example, you can buy a strawberry green tea or even a strawberry pineapple green tea!

Next up are strawberries themselves, one of the fruits with the highest amount of antioxidants yet low in calories. Tis strawberry season so get them at your local farmer's market.

For the creaminess and filling part of this drink, opt for reduced fat/light coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk. Both offer healthy fats. Why reduced fat coconut milk? Well, otherwise this drink will climb over 500 calories, that's why.

Lastly, and most important, is the Multi Collagen Protein Beauty Within powder. While its guava passionfruit flavor perfectly matches this drink (the original pink drink also uses a passionfruit flavor), this collagen has a lot going for it ... and you.

Containing a phytonutrient beauty blend that supports overall skin health and skin elasticity, it includes a whopping 10 types of collagen from four sources. One source is the clinically studied fermented eggshell membrane collagen ingredient, which has been shown to reduce knee stiffness and joint discomfort in a week, improve appearance of crow's feet after 28 days, promote healthy hair thickness and growth while reducing hair breakage, and more.

How to Make a Pink Drink

First step is making up the tea. Boil enough water for one cup. Ideally, you have a fruit-flavored tea such as strawberry green tea, strawberry pineapple green tea, mango passionfruit tea (this is a black tea), etc. There are many tropical options.

Put two bags of tea into a cup and pour the boiling water into it. Let it steep for three to five minutes.

Next, start to cool the tea by adding a couple of ice cubes.

This also can be done the night before, and then place the cup of tea into the fridge after it's cooled a bit. (You can also go without the tea altogether.)

Once tea is no longer warm, make the rest of the drink.

For the strawberries, cut out the stems and measure one cup's worth. Toss into a high-powered blender along with one cup of reduced fat coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk.

Add two scoops of Multi Collagen Protein Beauty Within along with a handful of ice and the cooled-down tea. Blend well.

Pour into two glasses and top with sliced strawberries. Enjoy!
