Ancient Apothecary Eucalyptus Essential Oil

For topical, aromatherapy or dietary purposes.

Although it's grown all over the world, eucalyptus trees are native to Australia. For thousands of years, the Australian Aborigine people have praised the plant for its benefits.

Hailing from the fresh leaves of the towering evergreen eucalyptus tree, eucalyptus essential oil is a truly refreshing, exhilarating experience. Eucalyptus essential oil is sometimes known as Black Peppermint Oil. It is steam-distilled from the leaves and twigs of the tall evergreen tree that is native to Australia.

Many aromatherapists believe that Eucalyptus is the most useful form of eucalyptus because it has a more pleasant aroma and is more easily assimilated.

Eucalyptus oil has a distinctive aroma and taste, but is colorless with numerous beneficial properties. It is often used in mouthwashes, inhalers, rubs, liniments and rash creams. During World War I, eucalyptus was widely used for its significant cleansing benefits.

Eucalyptus blends well with many other essential oils, including lavender essential oil, cedarwood essential oil, frankincense essential oil, as well as thyme, rosemary and marjoram essential oils.
