What is the difference between Plant Protein+ and KETO Plant Protein?
While both products have a base of organic seeds, the key difference lies in the adaptogenic blend and fat content. Plant Protein+ Chocolate contains 2.5 grams of fat and a blend of adaptogens like cordyceps, holy basil, reishi and more. Our KETO Plant Protein has 11 grams of fat and one adaptogenic herb, ashwagandha.

Why is it important to source organic seeds?
In organic agriculture, food is grown without the use of toxic, prohibited chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Human sewage sludge, also known as‚“biosolids,” is also banned. This is especially important when it comes to seed-based ingredients because many chemical pesticides are “systemic,” meaning they're taken up inside of the plants and can become concentrated in seeds. We source only organic seeds for our plant protein.
Can you tell me more about medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs)?
MCTs are saturated fatty acids popular among many health circles. Coconut oil is a great source of MCTs and what we use in Plant Protein+. Compared to longer-chain fats, MCTs are generally well absorbed since the body requires less work to break apart carbon bonds. Since MCTs are smaller, they generally permeate cell membranes and don't require special enzymes for use in our bodies.

Why aren’t your products labeled as being “dairy-free” or “nut free"?
Our products do not contain dairy, grains, nuts or soy; however, they are manufactured in facilities that may carry these allergens. This being said, all of our manufacturing partners are required to have and follow a thorough Allergen Program. The Allergen Program is to prevent the cross contamination of raw materials and processing of finished goods, where allergens may be present.
