Ancient Apothecary Lemongrass Essential Oil

For topical, aromatherapy or dietary purposes.

Lemongrass is a tall, perennial plant with a subtle citrus flavor and a recognizable herbaceous scent that is believed to help promote healthy digestion.

It is native to warm and tropical regions, such as India, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. It is used as a health-supporting herb in India and it is common in Asian cuisine.

With a light and fresh lemony smell with earthy undertones, it is stimulating, relaxing, soothing, and balancing.

Purifying and toning to skin, lemongrass oil, with its herbaceous aroma, is a favorite for massages, since it acts as an  overall bodily tonic.

Its cleansing and firming effects for the skin make it a go-to addition to skincare and cosmetic products, including soaps, deodorants, shampoos, lotions and tonics. It also works well as an air freshener and deodorizer, especially when blended with other essential oils, such as geranium rose and bergamot.

Cautions: Possible skin sensitivity. Consult your physician before use, especially if pregnant, nursing, taking medication or if you have a medical condition. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes, and sensitive skin. Keep out of reach of children.
